Hen Parties!
 
I haven't really had many hen parties before but with a few close friends of mine getting married I have had lots of Hen Parties around me and just thought I would share a few of the ideas which have helped create some fabulous hen parties to remember!
 

Sorry I haven't posted for a while!
I would make an excuse but to be honest its as simple as where is the time going this year! OMG one minute I'm packing away the Christmas decorations and the next minute I'm writing my Christmas list all over again!
 
Anyway! I thought I would mention the dreaded C word a few more times throughout this post, I know how you all love it really!!
 
The run up to Christmas always seems like a fab time to have a Jewellery Party at home! I can travel locally so if your looking for a Jewellery Party in the Wrexham, Flintshire or Chester area then please let me know!

We all love a good wedding, getting dressed up and having an amazing day with all your close family and friends!

A very enjoyable part for those listening and a very nervous part for those reading are always the speeches and readings done throughout the day.
I attended a wedding over the weekend and we had 2 beautiful readings and quite a few hilarious speeches.
One of the readings was suggested to me by one of my lovely twitter buddies so it gave me an idea to start a little blog allowing people to add their very own suggestions.
So please do comment below with readings, speeches, suggestions, poems and anything else you feel will help those who have to do a reading or speech on the day.
Feel free to also share memories of your speeches or speeches at your wedding.

So here it is the beautiful reading, a quirky wedding reading but so cute!

 A Good Wedding Cake

4lb of love
½ lb of good looks
1 lb of sweet temper
1 lb of butter of youth
1 lb of blindness of faults
1 lb of pounded wit
1 lb of good humour
2 tablespoons of sweet argument
1 pint of rippling laughter.

Put the love, good looks and sweet temper into a well furnished
house. Beat the butter of youth to a cream, and mix well together with
the blindness of faults. Stir the pounded wit and good humour into
the sweet argument, then add the rippling laughter and common
sense. Add a dash of modesty and work the whole thing together
until everything is well mixed. Bake gently forever.

Looking through my site you will see that i mainly use sterling silver or silver coloured items to hand make my jewellery. I occasionally use some gold too but mainly for commissioned items.
I'm not sure why i choose silver, i suppose its because its what i like personally and what works with my designs.

Recently during a shopping session stocking up on wire to make my button bouquets one of my supplies Beads and More by Lois contacted me to see if i would be interested in testing out a sample of her vintage jewellery findings.
She said it would give me the opportunity to do something outside of my comfort zone!
So loving the idea of something new i said....
